  1. Pete-
It was soooo great to speak with you today – thanks so much for calling. I loved all the photos, especially the ones of Pork and his cool pack – he looks great (and so do you!). The nature photos were great – all the scenery and the freakishly large bugs, bright fungi, and unknown vegetation. I look forward to following the blog as you go forward. Good luck and stay safe and happy!
    Fondly-
    Marie

  2. Oops – forget to tell you that Sam Chiappone sends his best, Pete. I told him we spoke today and he is thinking of you and rooting for you, too! Jo sends hugs to you and Pork!

  3. Dear (Bearded) Toaster,

Since this is apparently the only way I have of contacting you, I have no idea whether or not you are even alive at this point. Considering I was living with you less than a year ago, I think this is a problem.

Good luck on the remaining 1/3 of the trip (or whatever it is), though to get to this point it takes more than luck I’m sure. I look forward to hearing from you again, but more importantly, seeing you and the Hot Dog again. Remember, victory belongs to the most persevering.

    P.S.
Pork must be jacked at this point right? He’s going to get all the bitches when he walks down the street, literally.

    P.S.S.
I’ve started growing a beard at about Thanksgiving time. I think I’ve given you a more than adequate head start…
